So glad today is the last day of my work week. For some odd reason I have been really dragging this week. Maybe it is because I know I have an exciting weekend ahead! Does that ever happen to any of you?

It's Ok That...
...I have a million and ones things on my to do list to accomplish because I don't have to work tomorrow!
...I have seriously over packed for a weekend visit (I always over pack)!
...yesterdays outfit included a tweed blazer I wore in my high school senior pictures! What? Classic never goes out of style!
....Even though I have already packed to much, I will more then likely throw in some last minute items! A girl needs options!

ReplyDeleteI am a to-do list FANATIC. I make one every day, even on weekends. And I put things like "Take a shower", "Brush teeth", "Take a nap"... so I always feel like I accomplished something...

I always over pack too.
ReplyDeleteoh my, that suitcase is scaring me. My fix for this is limit yourself to 1-2 pairs of jeans. Do you honestly need to wash jeans daily? no. Take a couple sweaters, and lots of tops. I estimate 2 outfits a day.. with the same jeans. :-)
ReplyDeleteA girl needs options, right?! Keep packing! I have had to sit on a suitcase to close it far too many times! (a trick I use... roll everything you can - esp shirts, silks, jerseys - and stuff socks and underwear into shoes and boots - you can pack way more!) xo

ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS over-pack! I don't think I've ever under-packed or packed just enough. But when people say anything I just say "I was a girl scout, gotta be prepared for anything!" I Wish I could wear the things I wore in high-school, but they don't fit anymore :(
